**About the role**:
Mantel Group is growing rapidly, with a hyper focus on 'extraordinary client experiences'. To ensure that our clients receive the best possible experience from pre-sales through delivery, we are investing in our client portfolio and more specifically the Strategic Account Principal role. This role will sit alongside our current Client Engagement Principals (CEP) and be focused on building strategic relationships with clients through amazing delivery experiences; whilst supporting and leading the broader delivery team(s).

The Strategic Account Principal will play a pivotal role in developing strong and trusted relationships with our key clients. This role will suit a business focused consultant with the ability to approach clients from a non technical perspective.

Key attributes:

- Business-led technology/digital transformation experience, including projects and programs at scale
- Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship building skills (business and technology clients), at an EM, GM, CxO level
- Delivery leadership (day-to-day) and finding ways to expand the breadth of our in-flight engagements through understanding of business strategy, priorities and outcomes sought
- Overarching governance and reporting capability (i.e., SteerCo, financial management, risk and assurance, quality control)
- Build great working relationships with our team, i.e., Brand CEOs/CTOs, CEPs, Delivery Leadership, Group Leadership
- Client satisfaction, commercial outcomes, and escalation (when required)

While you will work side by side with the CEP, the important distinction between your role and theirs is that your role is to be embedded and dedicated to the account(s) and support growth and longevity from inside the account as opposed to the CEPs who will be more focussed on account expansion through new business development activities and the establishment of new relationships.

**About you**:

- You'll have experience in developing strong relationships with technical and business leaders at EM, GM and CxO level
- You will be focused on extraordinary delivery outcomes, whilst being commercially focused on the next series of opportunities
- You will have extensive consulting experience and have a proven track record of building deep client relationships and aligning delivery of technical outcomes to business and commercial objectives
- You will have experience in overseeing projects and programs and solving complex problems for clients - including the day-to-day leadership of disparate teams across Mantel Group
- You will be heavily involved in pre-sales and building sales pipeline within the client(s) environments that you support and be responsible for shaping up engagements alongside the CEP
- You will play a pivotal role as part of the client leadership team and actively participate in knowledge sharing, account planning and team / delivery oversight
- You will play an active role in the growth of the client that you support by actively building relationships at all levels within the client required to expand the Mantel Group footprint
- Be able to mentor and inspire other consultants on the ground
- Your definition of success in this role will be defined by client satisfaction and equally that of our team's
- Ideally, you will have prior experience working within a consulting environment, across Top 50 Australian businesses
- Ideally, you will have been a consultant (billable or not billable) working within a client environment and been a contributor to the growth of that account through business led delivery and selling
