**About the position**

Reporting to the Marketing Officer, Student Recruitment as a Domestic Student Recruitment postgraduate (PG) team member, the Sales Consultant is vital in delivering high-quality customer service support to achieve postgraduate student recruitment objectives.

The position holder is required to deliver a personalised, trustworthy, and seamless one-on-one consultation experience to prospective postgraduate students and represent the University at student recruitment events and expos. The position supports a key strategic portfolio area.

**Duties at this level will include**:

- Capture enquirer contact details and study interests to improve the customer experience and reporting of the postgraduate team.
- Actively contribute to a dynamic sales environment that fosters and develops effective working relationships, collaborative work practices, consideration for colleagues and valuing the contribution of others.

**Skills and knowledge required**:

- Relevant post-secondary qualifications or equivalent and proven administrative experience, preferably in sales and customer service with a drive to achieve student recruitment targets.
- Experience and skills in achieving sales targets through exceptional enquiry management and nurturing prospective students, including personalised, trustworthy and seamless customer experiences.
- High-level verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with members of the public in a professional manner.
- A good understanding of the higher education environment that includes the sales funnel from first enquiry to enrolment.
