**Sales Consultant - Casual - Richmond**:

We're looking for energetic casual sales advisor to join our lovely, sunny showroom on Church St, Richmond. Your main duty will be to engage and educate our guests on our product range and tell the stories associated with our core principles / ethos: timelessness; craftsmanship; affordability; sustainability and customer commitment.

**Other responsibilities are, but not limited to**:

- Resolving customer concerns or disputes to ensure that we maintain our NPS score above 80.
- To acquire the necessary sales and product knowledge regarding our company and our products to enable you to advise customers with their customer service enquiries and product purchases.
- Learn to use our business systems to conduct the customer service and sales activities efficiently.
- Reach out to our visitors who asked for a quotation and build strong relationships.
- General cleaning and visual merchandising duties (some lifting required).
- Collaborate with team members and other departments.
- To engage in ongoing training development to continually improve skills and knowledge

**To be successful in this role you will need**:

- 3 years of customer service/retail experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills
- The ability to work alone and to take initiative
- A strong team player and can-do attitude - find solutions to problems and not be a part of the problem
- A desire to grow and improve
- Casual availability (Both weekend days, and one or more week days**)**

It’s a bonus if you have:
- A background in interior design- A passion for interior design
- Comfort with sales techniques like cross-selling and upselling
**Hours required**:

- Mondays and Fridays lunch cover (EG: 12-3 or 11-2 flexible to suit students or school drop-off/pickup)-
- Flexibility for ad-hoc cover to fill in for sick/annual leaveCompany Culture
