**Customer Experience and Digital Technology?**
The purpose of Customer Experience and Digital Technology is to design, build and maintain products, services and experiences that Australian's love and trust, while delivering a sustainable future for Australia Post. The key areas that Customer Experience and Digital Technology is responsible for include Customer Experience, Customer Services, Decipha, Identity and Financial Services, Digital Channels, Data Science, Data Commercialisation, Product Engineering and Platforms, as well as Technology.
**What does the role involve?**
The purpose of CX&DT is to create products that customers love and trust and deliver a sustainable future for Australia Post.
Product Engineering and Platforms is a key contributor to the creation and maintenance of these products.
Our role is to advise during the concept and early design of new products or revisions to existing products; to deliver solutions; and maintain the technology components of the customer product solution once in market
Platform Engineering sits within Product Engineering and Platforms. It exists to advise, guide and collaborate with the delivery teams within Product Engineering and the broader enterprise to enable frictionless delivery and operation of multi-service solutions to our customers.
**Major Accountabilities**:
The Digital Product Manager is responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and feature definition for the products in their portfolio.
- Responsible for research, customer feedback stakeholder engagement
- Develop technical road maps and business architecture to align products to platform model to facilitate faster product development, within PEP as well as influencing broader Enterprise programs
- Delivery of features to meet stakeholders’ expectations
- Creation of Strategy around engaging external developer community, to accelerate external customer integration and drive use of customer facing APIs and portal.
- Create the roadmap and capability for platform integration with P&I business units, partners, and subsidiaries for Australia Post customers to enable consistent digital onboarding experience.
- Responsible for commercial feasibility of the product.
**Strategy Execution and Customer**
- Develop and implement product strategy and roadmap that supports product and technical innovation in the product portfolios, aligning with P&I priorities, and delivers an exceptional customer experience
- Understand the impact of new and existing products/features and engage with key stakeholders and customers to maximise the products success
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for new and existing products from product roadmaps and design to commercialisation/optimisation and monitoring
**Financial**
- Lead the financial forecasting, budget management and reporting to ensure delivery is within budget and optimised
- Develop frameworks for measuring performance and ROI, in line with Australia Posts’ Financial reporting processes
- Ensure all product development and enhancements are economically viable required benefits are realised
- Utilise and leverage existing assets and resources to extract maximum value from existing product and service offerings
**Required experience**:
**Industry and Function**
- Experience in developing product strategy and the end to end product lifecycle management.
- Experience / involvement in developing ‘leading edge' commercially sound customer/product strategies
- Demonstrated experience in leveraging customer insights to build and develop tailored, innovative and differentiated products and solutions
- Strong track record in developing and implementing strategies, plans and major work programs.
**Technical and/or Professional Qualifications/Skills Required**
- Knowledge of technical, legislative, contractual and compliance obligations affecting both product portfolio and the market
- End to end project management of complex, cross-functional projects and teams
- 5+ years product development and implementation
