**What you’ll be doing**:
The objective of the Commercial Performance Specialist role is to provide data-driven commercial analytics support to proactively identify revenue opportunities for Sales and work-closely with Sales leadership team to achieve the overarching revenue ambition. This role plays a direct role to lead more complex and advanced modelling and proactively supports the Senior Manager and General Manager to prepare for CEO/Board/management level updates.

Further responsibilities:

- Lead more complex analytics across relevant commercial functions - this include integrating different datasets to understand commercial drivers and behaviours to generate critical insights
- Transform analytical output into actionable insights and narrative that will improve decision making and consequently drive business performance
- Proactively interrogate and analyse data to identify trends, gaps and opportunities, and understand drivers of commercial performance using Microsoft Excel, PowerBI and other analytical tools
- Participate in the analysis and documentation of commercial and strategic objectives as they relate to solution design, delivery or development.
- Promote a data led culture through the use of data and analytical decision making across the Commercial Division
- Support the commercial leadership team to identify and scope commercial opportunities in the Sales function and lead the sizing of commercial benefits and investments (as required)
- Continual delivery of strong recommendations with options considered and supported by a high degree of robust analytics
- Work closely with and support Sales functions to deploy and optimise initiatives
- Work closely with Group Reporting team to establish and produce routine reporting that addresses performance and key risks areas and provide clearly articulated insights and actions to be taken to address findings.

**Who we’re looking for**:

- Bachelor's degree qualification in relevant field
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Management Consulting or similar functions in industry (Strategy, Commercial Analyst, Business Analyst, Analytics etc.). Experience in commercial and revenue focused analytics is highly advantageous.
- Experience in translating business questions into analysis to prove/disprove hypothesis
- Experience interrogating and analysing large bodies of data to generate actionable insights
- Advanced Excel and PowerBI skills (you must be able to create complex data models etc.)
- Experience in preparing CEO/Board level presentations
- Ability to synthesize insights into a management level narrative to drive decision making
- Ability to use data insights to generate easily interpreted, impactful Microsoft PowerPoint presentations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to quickly build relationships
