What does the job look like?

Linfox operates Intermodal services across Australia, providing innovative and comprehensive supply chain solutions to various industries. We are currently seeking an Operational Processing Coordinator in Kewdale, a role that is responsible for managing the load planning, load optimization and delivery of freight across the network. This role will report into and support a highly valued customer’s logistics operations to ensure that all loads are planned in accordance with business guidelines and relevant legislation. Key areas:

- Manage load planning, load optimisation and delivery using various Transport Management Systems
- Manage customer bookings and create Sales Orders to process shipments/Loads
- Optimise the PUD and Subcontractor booking and maintenance systems, ensuring that all the allocator details for the carriers are updated for FTP against the manifest
- Manifest the driver loads in SAP
- Working collaboratively with our customer to ensure delays and service issues are communicated proactively
- Assign loads to Linfox carriers which require the Equipment Type, Trailer, and Driver to be populated against the load in TMS and subsequently triggered to be sent to Foxtrax system
- Allocate the workload to subcontractors and company drivers in line with demand of the contract in DFN
- Process site invoices through P2P on behalf of the Rail Operations

Are you the one?
- Proven experience in a similar role involving transport load planning, driver allocating/management or fleet allocating in road or rail highly regarded
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills - experience with TMS advantageous
- Strong geographical knowledge of the region
- Technically sound in vehicle/load weights and dimensions
- Highly organised with the ability to work calmly and efficiently in a very high-pressure environment
