Job Title Marketing Manager

Reports to General Manager - Marketing

Role

The Marketing Manager will work closely with the GM Marketing and be responsible for building, defining & delivering key

strategies supporting Marketing department.
- Where required take ownership of defining and building the strategy (with or without support from EGMM,

depending on significance of item)
- Work closely with EGMM to ensure the department supports the achievement of business objectives.
- Accountable and responsible for specific functions to the wider business as defined.

Location

The role is based as per your common law contact

Marketing Assistant

Marketing Coordinator

Liaises With

All internal and external stakeholders involved with J G King Building Group and related companies as required.

Inter Company Working Relationships:

- J G King Pty Ltd;
- J G King (Regional) Pty Ltd;
- J G King Project Management PL (all applicable locations across Victoria);
- Project Windows and Doors (located in Ballarat);
- Steel Frame Solutions (located in Ballarat); and

Intra Company Working Relationships:

- Accounting and Finance;
- Construction;
- Product Development;
- Information Technology;
and
- Various management levels across the organisation.

External Working Relationships:
Maintain good working relationships with all third parties including:

Tasks & Responsibilities

Research (including Customer data, Sales data, Marketing data, Competitor data, Company data i.e. Product data, etc.)
- Responsible for specific research pieces i.e. competitor, customer, company, etc
- Monitor and report on data against budgets/targets.
- Accountable for interpretation and driving better business outcomes based on research data.

Segment, Target & Position
- Drive development of identifying market segments with GMM. Identify key targets and help facilitation of defining

Brand Positioning.

Brand
- Support and develop Brand Bible in conjunction with GMM.
- Report annual Brand Equity and attribute data to business with GMM

Social content
- Define and build Social Media strategy with support from GMM.
- Gain understanding on how Social media strategy fits within wider Promotional Strategy (Tactics), and how that feeds

and supports Diagnosis and Strategy.

Displays inc. signage, fit out, sales experience, etc.
- Help define, build, and execute Display Strategy with support from the GMM.

Website
- Help drive and implement specific projects.

Sponsorships
- Define, Manage and build sponsorship opportunity defining benefits to the business and how it fits into broader

marketing and business strategies.

Marketing Collateral
- Define, build and execute marketing collateral strategy in coordination with GMM.

Event Planning/Management
- Develop plan to justify event participation to GMM.
- Ensure event selection fits withing wider marketing and business plans.

Budget
- Build tool to manage budget. Tool must record budget and actuals and allow the ability to manage a forecast

throughout the year.
- Budget to include all LAM, aligning with LAM Sales Targets
- Involvement in building and defining the budget for future FY in consultation with the MM.

Promos
- Brief, deliver 4 promos per year including all supporting executions

Promotion/Lead Generation/Sales Budget
- Deliver Strategy in conjunction with GMM to support achievement of both lead generation and sales budget targets.

General
- Assist in writing content across promotion suite as required. Will be accountable of quality of output for mediums as

specified.
- Attend and contribute to team brainstorms as required i.e. strategy, marketing campaigns, etc. Will be expected to

drive and deliver parts (if not whole) of sessions.
- Assists department in meeting deadlines for various tasks and projects as required.

Develop Local marketing plans Achievement of KPIs

Ensure the below agree KPIs are achieved per display home:

- Achievement of 250 leads per week/1,000 leads per month
- Ensure all executions are accurate i.e. no grammatical errors, spelling, etc.
- Exceptional supplier management and good working relationship with other staff members [measured against

number of complaints].
- Ability to multi-tasks and prioritise [measured against tasks being completed in a timely manner and as per

deadlines].

- Accurate information of all items that ‘Go to Market’.
