We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Procurement Manager to join our Team in our Support Office in Silverwater.
**About the role**
Reporting to the National Logistics and Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for reducing product purchasing / service costs, improving supply chain processes and in stock position while growing profitable sales opportunities through the establishment of core ranges with core product partnerships with suppliers and internal contacts.
This role will be specifically responsible for:
- Negotiating best buy rates;
- Ensuring we have a profitable, growing and evolving product range;
- Developing strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders;
As the Procurement Manager you will support the business by ensuring we source the best available products and pricing to allow us to be competitive in the markets we play in.
**What can you expect?**
- Engage and own all aspects of the business from a Procurement, Supplier and products perspective.
- Work with all departments to maximise team culture engagement, morale and motivation in line with the Plumbers Co-op way.
**About you**
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Supply Chain or a related field.
- Experience in sourcing products while being able to work with multiple stakeholders in complex organisations.
- Handling several projects simultaneously and being able to prioritise key outcomes and deliverables.
- The ability to develop strong relationships with suppliers with demonstrated procurement experience.
