About the role
To assist and support Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists at Ipswich Hospital in the delivery of therapy services to patients.
About you
- Clinical knowledge and skills in the area of therapy assistance across Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy.
- Uses strong communication skills to work effectively with patients, therapists, and other staff to deliver a service that meets patient's needs.
- Demonstrates respect for others, remaining flexible, fair, and willing to compromise when dealing with team members.
- Demonstrates direction and vision in terms of self development, showing initiative in learning and a willingness to share iformation with others.
- Understands and adheres to quality systems and processes, and proactively identifies areas for improvement.

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
- No mandatory qualifications are required for this position, however a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance would be highly desirable.
