Empowered Therapy and Training are local people with an understanding of the needs of our community. We pride ourselves on our knowledge of the communities we support, and how to develop both services & opportunities to support people in their goal to live a positive life, both in their home and socially.
The supports provided by Empowered Therapy and Training are focused on person centred practice, along with a genuine interest in how our community works and what is important for the people who live and work in our community. We achieve this by providing qualified and knowledgeable support workers, therapists and educators both directly into the community, and to organisations who work within the community we serve.
With our innovative approach and other programs, we continue to work with people to drive positive changes in their lives and to offer as much assistance to the families of supported individuals as we possibly can.
About the Role
- Manage a clinical workload by undertaking a nutrition assessment, implementation and evaluation within a private practice setting
- Ooze energy and passion for helping people while living a healthy, balanced lifestyle
- Build and nurture a client base through grassroots promotion and premium care
- Maintain a high level of clinical competence through ongoing education
- Work in collaboration with our team of allied health professional to offer an effortless approach to care
You will need to Demonstrate;
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nutrition and Dietetics from a recognised university/institution and membership with the Dieticians Association of Australia
- Professional indemnity insurance (if engaged as a independent contractor)
- Previous experience in a similar medical/allied health environment
- Appropriate Clearance (Yellow Card QLD)
- Proven and successful management of patient caseload and patient retention
- Experience in specialised areas such as: weight loss; general medicine, chronic diseases management (including diabetes, IBS and eating disorders) is desirable.
**Job Types**: Casual, Part-time
**Salary**: $65,092.00 - $102,940.00 per year
