We are an established clinic within the Ipswich CBD. Kids at Play Therapy Services is located in Ipswich, only 30 minutes from Brisbane, and has been operating for over 10 years with an authentic multidisciplinary therapy practice. We offer in-clinic and community visits to support our clients and families in meeting their goals, with our clientele ranging from 0-18 years of age. Our team is passionate about their work and believes in a play and strengths-based focus for achieving client outcomes. You will work alongside other Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Early Intervention Specialists, and Allied Health Aides in a supportive, multidisciplinary team environment. The clinic is owner-operated by two clinicians, focusing on the client journey, clinician development, and providing a supportive and well-resourced practice to provide the best outcomes for clients and their families.

Kids at Play Therapy Services focuses on staff wellbeing and ensuring that staff are supported with wellbeing programs implemented and additional support accessible to all staff. We also have a therapy dog named Rosie and a saltwater fish tank, providing an excellent and inviting space for everyone.

About the role
- This role will primarily focus on Allied Health Assistant of Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy and/or Physiotherapy and would best suit a person with this skill set.
- You will be responsible for providing direct and indirect intervention with the support of a supervising clinician, liaising with families, teachers, professionals and support staff.
- You will work within our Multidisciplinary Team, which provides frequent opportunities for collaboration, ongoing professional learning, and case discussion in a fun, friendly, and welcoming working environment.
- The position will involve a combination of work within our modern, well-resourced offices, visiting clients in their schools or places of learning and within clients' homes and the broader community.
- Full administration support is provided to Allied Health Assistants, including bookings, appointment confirmation, and billing.

Qualifications & experience
- Studying Bachelor of Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy (or equivalent)
- Passionate about a career in paediatrics
- Current Blue Card and Criminal History Check.
- Experience with working with clients in the Paediatric field with clients and families with a Developmental Disability, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Mental Health Conditions.
