The objectives of the GWC are to improve, and make more equitable, the standard of basic physician training across all of its member health services - and for this to be reflected in the quality and adequacy of the basic physician trainee workforce in the GWC. - 12 months as Basic Physician Trainee recognised by RACP prior to commencement
- Strong leadership skills and willingness and ability to supervise and mentor Interns and Hospital Medical Officers
- Commitment to sitting written and clinical exam in 2025
- Commitment to working by the Royal Melbourne values at all times

- Selection Criteria- Desirable: What rotations will you have completed during your BPT1 year?
- Desirable: Using dot points, please confirm what relevant courses you have undertaken since finishing university? (e.g. ALS)- Desirable: We are partnered with Rural Health Services to support their workforce. Is there any reason you would not be able to undertake a rural rotation in 2024?
- Desirable: Are you up to date with all RACP BPT requirements, including ALS, LNA, PQR, mini-CEXs, reports etc.
- Desirable: Have you failed, been deemed non-competent or had unsatisfactory performance in any of your units or rotations?
- Desirable: Are there any matters regarding your conduct or professional practice that have been referred to the Board that governs your profession; training college; VCAT; or any other Victorian tribunal whether they be in progress or completed?
