**Basic Physician Trainee Year 2**
- Commencing at BPT2 in Training Year 2025 and moving to a BPT3 in Training Year 2026.
- The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community-based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world-renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.

**Your Opportunity**:

- The Royal Melbourne Hospital is part of the Greater Western Basic Physician Training Consortium (GWC). The objectives of the GWC are to improve, and make more equitable, the standard of basic physician training across all of its member health services - and for this to be reflected in the quality and adequacy of the basic physician trainee workforce in the GWC.
- All positions will be appointed prior by direct appointment prior to the PMCV match.

**About you**
- 12 months as Basic Physician Trainee recognised by RACP prior to commencement
- Strong leadership skills and willingness and ability to supervise and mentor Interns and Hospital Medical Officers
- Commitment to sitting written and clinical exam in 2026
- Commitment to working by the Royal Melbourne values at all times
