- HEW 8 $109,837 - $125,755 + 17% Superannuation (pro rata, part time)

The Specialist, Research Funding is responsible for advising and supporting academic staff in securing research funding and is required to develop and maintain connections with Finance and Procurement, Grants and Contracts, Business Development and Commercial, Intellectual Property and Commercialisation, Faculty Research teams and various stakeholders to ensure a smooth and integrated approach.

**Reporting to the Strategic Advisor, Research and Innovation, the Specialist, Research Funding will**:

- Facilitate active collaboration between academic staff, Faculty stakeholders, and teams that sit outside the Faculty, including Finance and Procurement, Grants and Contracts, Business Development and Commercial, and Intellectual Property and Commercialisation, to achieve strategic goals in relation to external research funding and commercialisation for the Faculty.
- In collaboration with the Associate Dean Research, develop and implement local plans in alignment with Faculty and University strategies to achieve sustained funding performance.

**To be successful, you’ll have**:

- Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or
- Extensive experience and management expertise; or
- Postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training

**Special Requirements**
- Infrequent work outside business hours is required (e.g., work at evening or weekend events is required)
- Drivers Licence
- Working with Children Check (refer to Recruitment Procedure)
