- Remuneration: $96,960 - $103,434 (Full-time equivalent) + 17% Super and leave loading

**Why Your Role Matters**:
As a Student Experience Officer, you will play a key role in supporting and implementing mentoring initiatives as part of the Faculty’s Health 25 Strategy. Your main focus will be to support the Faculty’s mentoring schemes to improve student experience and participate in other student experience initiatives within UNSW Medicine & Health.

The role reports to the Student Experience Team Lead and has no direct reports.

**Responsibilities will include but not be limited to**:

- Monitor and assess the compatibility and progress of mentor-mentee relationships and provide support throughout the duration of their mentoring relationships as needed.
- Support the development and implementation of communication strategies to promote mentoring programs to students, clinicians and staff.
- Support continuous improvement to the mentoring programs through proactively identifying areas for development and participating in projects to improve practices across the mentoring programs.
- Participate in recruitment and onboarding activities for Medicine & Health commencing students. This includes participating in student outreach and recruitment activities, organising Faculty Welcomes, and represent Faculty in central student onboarding initiatives during peak periods.

**Who You Are**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and productively within a team, but also to take initiative and work independently while managing competing demands.
- Highly advanced interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience providing effective service and support to diverse stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate administrative processes in a complex environment, problem solve and handle highly sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
- Excellent project coordination and time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to respond to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines by using judgement.
