Then perhaps a role within the Economic Development Team at Yarra City Council is for you.

Bring your project management and communications skills, community engagement experience, creative thinking, and can-do attitude to the role and help shape the way we market and support our business community.

Your work program will be exciting and varied as you’ll be a first point of contact for businesses looking to open in Yarra. You will be engaging with trader groups and associations, workshopping campaigns and events, together with supporting our newly established Learning Bank venue on Victoria Street Richmond. In addition to this you will also lead on some exciting projects that go across multiple council units.
- Build and strengthen relationships between the local retail sector and Council.
- Assist in the delivery of strategic projects both within and external to the unit, and implement actions from Councils Economic Development Strategy 2015-2020
- Plan and implement effective community and stakeholder engagement
- Think creatively, to communicate and deliver marketing campaigns at a high level
