THE ROLE
Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for executing on strategic initiatives in Australia and the Asia Pacific. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Supporting the lawyers in all aspects of their business development activities, including new business proposals, client targeting, and account management;
Assisting with bids and proposals, identifying opportunities that are likely to be successful;
Advising and supporting the legal teams in major BD initiatives, developing value propositions, coordinating feedback, and drafting content;
Engaging in the firm's client relationship management program;
Working closely with the Business Development Manager to identify and target potential opportunities;
Liaising with the APAC Communications Manager to ensure effective use of communication channels to promote the firm’s marketing initiatives;
Ensure BD materials are compliant with local legal requirements with accurate branding.
THE FIRM
**To be successful in this position, you will have**:
Relevant bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or communications
Experience in business development or similar role, ideally within professional services
Proficient in drafting and managing client proposals, pursuits management and account management
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Energetic and motivated with a positive attitude
Highly organised and accountable, with strong attention to detail
