**Assistant Manager, Programmatic and Paid Search**
The Assistant Manager, Programmatic and Paid Search is responsible for developing and executing a multi-channel acquisition strategies to drive new card acquisition and billings growth.
Leading one direct report, this role is accountable for building external relationships with media publishers, platforms and external agencies to build best in class campaigns and strategies.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Responsible for development and implementation of innovative strategies to deliver value to customers that improve the efficiency of the paid search and programmatic media acquisition channels across all consumer and business proprietary products
- Identify and leverage scalable opportunities to drive continued card member acquisition acceleration and growth
- Lead, develop and manage one direct report
- Responsible for building strong relationships with external publishers and agencies, central and local colleagues to develop and evolve channel capabilities to drive the most cost effective and profitable volume growth
- Support the optimisation of planning, investments, and each layer of the acquisition funnel through econometric models, digital analytics insights, and testing innovation
- Responsible for leading and evolving the acquisition paid media audience strategy
- Lead and enhance our measurement framework to enable stronger outcomes across key KPIs
- Work side-by-side with acquisition channel managers responsible for Site, Partnerships, Member Get Member & Early Engagement to drive cross-channel efficiency through the acquisition funnel
- Work closely with key business partners including Sales, Brand, Product Teams, Finance, Risk, Analytics and New Accounts to ensure alignment and most effective strategies being developed
- Maintain market awareness of both competitors and technological advances to analyze, plan and develop future strategic plans for acquisition
**Required Qualifications**:
- Seasoned marketing professional with extensive performance and digital marketing experience
- Strong experience in programmatic and paid search
- Drives results through strong people leadership and general management, with a proven ability to inspire and engage
- Creates solutions to complex issues and implements strategies/approaches to drive business growth
- Creative thinker who is able to communicate new ideas, and convince others to support strategies and tactics
- Ability to drive results and innovation in a fast-paced, constantly changing, and complex environment
- Experience managing multiple stakeholder relationships with strong influencing skills
- Superior analytical, creative and problem solving skills
- Strong project management skills
- Budget forecasting and management experience
- Dynamic, positive and energetic attitude and work ethic
