We are seeking an experienced rail safety, competency and compliance coordinator to ensure our technical staff are aware of and maintaining the appropriate level of competency and certification for the projects on which they are working. Although primarily rail based initially, the role will expand to cover other disciplines and will include responsibility for our Australia-wide business.
- Reporting to the ANZ Rail Systems Practice Lead, you will be responsible for implementing the rail safety strategy across each region, working closely with local Rail System Leads and supporting administration teams. This is a hands-on role to improve and maintain staff knowledge of Mott MacDonald staff, client and contractor rail safety requirements, arranging competency and compliance related training, driving continuous improvement through delivering often complex projects.

- Have a safety and compliance background in the rail project industry
- The ability to be self-sufficient and to adapt to requirement / legislation changes
- Clear coordination and good communication skills along with the ability to hit the ground running
- Excellent written and verbal communication and good presentation skills
