Natural Environment Program Officer will project manage the delivery of Port Phillip Region's Helmeted Honeyeater Supplementary Feeding Program and associated Recovery Team activities. This includes relationship development with volunteer-based organisations to increase volunteer recruitment to the Supplementary Feeding Program. The position will be responsible for ensuring availability of suitably trained volunteers who have access to the materials and tools to undertake the work. The position will also be responsible for ordering supplies, liaising with stakeholders and being the point of contact for anyone wanting information or access to the program. The position will professionalise the program through introduction of staff and volunteers to new methods of data capture, information publication and dissemination.

**S**pecialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications**
- An appropriate tertiary qualification related to natural resource management and or relevant experience
- GIS skills and experience using Microsoft Teams is an advantage.

**This is a fixed term position available for a period from 1 September 2023 to 31 August 2025. The work location for this position is Port Phillip Region with hybrid work arrangements available.**
