The Department of Government Services (DGS) was established on 1 January 2023 to bring important day-to-day services together in one department to make it easy and seamless for Victorians and businesses to interact with government. The Shared Service Provider (SSP) is part of the Victorian Government's commitment to a whole of government approach to the provision of shared corporate services. SSP supports the core business of departments and agencies by ensuring they receive real estate, facilities, library and carpool services that are efficient, innovative and of the highest quality.
About the role
Reporting to the Director, Accommodation Delivery Management, the Program Manager will provide significant, high-level advice on complex, high value office fit out projects. The role will work collaboratively with SSP clients to ensure coordinated, strategic and successful delivery of a suite of projects across the SSP portfolio.
The Program Manager will work closely with the SSP Director, Accommodation Delivery Management, to provide advice in relation to project management and analysis, end to end project delivery and will ensure integration across all SSP work streams (real estate, strategy, project delivery, relocations, client engagement, facilities management) when delivering critical projects. About you
To be considered for the role, you must be able to demonstrate:

- Demonstrated capacity to engage effectively with multiple stakeholders and clients with competing demands to achieve agreed outcomes.
- Strong written and oral communication skills including the ability to communicate, negotiate and present in a professional and positive manner.
- Demonstrated ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement, take responsibility for initiating and delivering outcomes for clients, and to proactively identify opportunities for innovation and recognise and mitigate risks.
- Demonstrated experience and high proficiency in working with program management methodologies, processes, tools and systems to achieve program deliverables successfully.
- Proven experience in successfully co-ordinating a program of projects across multiple clients, and in managing competing priorities and dependencies within time, resource and budget constraints.

A tertiary qualification in project management, engineering, building management, construction or architecture will be highly regarded.
