**About the role**

This highly autonomous role is accountable for servicing, maintaining, and growing the Residential market with the existing Dulux customer base. The role is critical to the success of housing in the region, your role will play a big part in identifying and driving the development of new and existing business opportunities through collaboration with key builders and contractors.

In addition to managing a portfolio of strong accounts, you will also add value to the team through involvement with projects and growth strategies.

You’ll spend most of your time on the road visiting customers on-site, covering the Sydney Metro and surrounding areas of Sydney. This all-encompassing sales role offers you accountability for the territory and diverse accountabilities across account management and new business development.

**Responsibilities**
- Managing a portfolio of customers, driving sales opportunities and being the face of the brand
- Building trust and influencing customers by demonstrating sound brand and product and local area market knowledge
- Executing strategies to create demand and achieve sales targets and KPI’s
- Managing and planning your time effectively, to maintain your customer visits and call cycles

**Skills & Experience**

The Dulux Trade Sales Teams are passionate about being consumer driven and customer focused. We ask, listen, learn and act to help our customers win. As a high performing, experienced sales representative you will be able to articulate and demonstrate how your authentic sales style and ability to close has led to your success so far.

To be successful in this role you will also demonstrate:

- Demonstrated ‘on the road’ sales experience in the relevant trade sales space, FMCG or similar
- Understanding in the New Residential space
- Experience with Tier 1 clients preferred but not essential
- Ability to effectively manage customer relationships, build rapport and collaborate with key stakeholders
- Strong verbal and written communications and a high level of business acumen
- Thorough understanding of how to use data to drive business outcomes
- A good understanding of sales cycles and experience using CRM systems for analysis, reporting and planning
