Trade & Retail Sales Consultant - Residential

**The Package**
This Showroom based sales role will offer you a long term career move with an excellent organisation, a broad, high end product offering and a friendly, supportive, close knit team to work with. The company has a strong market reputation and you can leverage off this and your industry experience to transition easily into this role. The salary package is negotiable but structured to work well with a highly motivated showroom sales consultant with experience selling to high end retail and trade clients. The starting salary package is circa $70-80K Super + Uncapped Commission.
**Our Client**
Our client is an established and growing supplier of high end luxury designer furniture and interior products that are used in various commercial and residential projects. The role will be based in their brand new showroom near Paddington and will see you working Tuesday to Saturday and being responsible for showroom sales via retail and trade clients.
**The Job**
We are seeking an experienced design sales consultant who enjoys being client facing and developing relationships with Trade clients such as Tier 1 Architects, interior designers, builders and high end retail customers. You will be responsible for managing the showroom and all Trade and retail sales. The role will be Tuesday to Friday - Approx hours 9.30 or 10am till 5pm and also Saturdays 10-4pm. Your aim will be proactively target trade clients for residential furniture sales and also manage and sell to retail clients. You will work alongside a friendly supportive commercial sales team.
**Skills Required**:
We are seeking applicants who can demonstrate the following skills;
- Proven track record of sales within high end residential lighting or furniture to trade and retail clients in NSW.
- Strong face to face relationship building skills and superb presentation and communication skills.
- A self-motivated, proactive approach to selling and building relationships.
- Previous experience of selling high end premium interior products.
- Interior design qualifications and sales experience preferred.
- Ability to work Saturdays currently with the aim of that developing to 2 Saturdays per month down the track.
