One of Melbourne’s highly renowned and respected Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery practices, located in the inner north, has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Practice Coordinator to join their friendly and professional team.

We seek an experienced Practice Coordinator who has demonstrated excellence in patient care and management. Knowledge of plastic surgery or non-surgical cosmetic treatment would be highly regarded.

This full-time position can be highly rewarding and offers an excellent salary for the successful applicant. Working in beautifully appointed rooms, your days will be filled with varied duties.

**Your daily responsibilities will include**:

- Liaise with referring medical practitioners and their staff.
- Create and manage appointments in Genie.
- Confirm patient appointments for consulting or surgery.
- Gather medical records, reports and results in readiness for consultations/admissions.
- Prepare surgical fee estimates.
- Prepare patient accounts, accept deposits and payments in full and receipt of same.
- Manage theatre billing and liaise with Medicare, Health funds / DVA etc.
- Processing billing via Eclipse.
- Schedule hospital bookings for patients and liaise with patients.
- Schedule theatre lists and coordinate ad hoc theatre lists.
- Organise anaesthetists and surgical assistants for theatre sessions.
- Order and manage patient radiology and pathology requests and medical supplies.

**Selection Criteria**:

- Minimum 2 years + experience in a similar role.
- Significant demonstrated, equivalent and relevant experience, knowledge and skills.
- Knowledge of Genie preferred and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Eye for detail, protect confidential or sensitive information.
- Professional presentation, confident, proactive and self-motivated.
