The Role
In this full time role, based in Box Hill, you will be responsible for the operational managment of the theatre complex in collaboration with the senior managment team to ensure continuity of staff and delivery of service.

You will facilitate the daily coordination of our dynamic theatre complex, comprising of 15 theatres, a Day of Surgery, Recovery and CSSD, as well as the overall co-ordination of staff, patients and doctors. To be successful in achieving this you will motive a team through your positive, calm leadership style and exhibit excellent coordination skills.

You will be part of the Perioperative department and report to the Theatre Utilisation Manager.

**You will make an impact by**:
Build strong and trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
To lead and coordinate the patient care team to deliver high quality holistic patient centred care.
Effective allocation of theatres with appropriate staffing and skills.
Responds quickly and proactively escalate concerns when necessary
Ensuring patient flow is managed whilst providing high standards of patient care.

To be successful in this roleYou will be able to demonstrate the ability to lead, assist and support all stakeholders to help deliver excellent customer service and high quality patient centred care within the perioperative environment.

You will have

Minimum 3 years experience in perioperative nursing
Ability to engage and motivate staff to deliver their best
Excellent communication and stakeholder influencing skills
The ability to multitask
Current AHPRA registration
