Property & Development NSW (PDNSW) is responsible for the management and delivery of large scale or complex real estate projects, transactions, workplace strategy, design and delivery, and manages the state’s significant property portfolio. This includes managing the state’s significant property portfolio and works closely with its government agency tenants to deliver quality, efficient and sustainable workplaces.

Waste Assets Management Corporation (WAMC) is a statutory corporation created under section 16 of the Waste Recycling and Processing Corporation (Authorised Transaction) Act 2010 and provides specialised operational management of operating landfills, rehabilitation and management of closed landfills.

**About the role**

We are seeking a **Rehabilitation Officer (Plant Operator)** to support a range of services for Waste Assets Management Corporation (WAMC) across various closed landfill sites, including the day-to-day landfill operations, rehabilitation and site maintenance responsibilities.

The role will be required to operate mobile plant and equipment and assist the site operations team with implementing and managing programs to ensure environmental compliance and workplace safety.

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in civil, earthworks, landfill or contaminated land management. You will have prior working knowledge of the Solid Waste Landfills or Contaminated Land Management or similar.

**Essential requirements**
- Assessed competent to operate dozers, Posi-Track loaders, dump trucks, water cart, and excavators greater than a manufacturer’s classification of 20 tonnes.
- Industrial First Aid certification, Site Safe ticket (or similar), and other operating licences
- White Card Induction
- Good knowledge of environmental and WHS requirements in an industrial setting
- A current and valid NSW driver’s full license and HR licence.

As part of the recruitment process you will undertake a physical assessment where you will be assessed on the operation of the above-mentioned machinery, as well as a pre-employment medical assessment.
