_**What we are looking for**:_

Join our team and make a difference in the lives of seniors We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to serve as our **Activities Coordinator** to grow a community-based **Centre Based Day Respite **programs. If you are dedicated in organising and coordinating programs that cater to the needs of clients over the age of 65, this would be a great opportunity for you.

**Duties and responsibilities include but will not be limited to**:

- New clients contacting and signing up
- Organising client and potential volunteers transport
- Set up respite activities
- Liaising with care coordinators and related team members
- A minimum of 1 year experience as either a **Centre Based Day Respite Coordinator** or **Activities Coordinator**
- Certificate in Community Services or equivalent qualification
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Strong organisational skills including the ability to problem solving, prioritising, and multi-tasking
- A great team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills including MS Office (word, excel) and care database
- Self-motivated with a “can do” attitude
- A permanent Australian resident
- Have a national police check (or willingness to obtain)
- Open Australian Drivers License
- Fully Vaccinated for Covid-19 and influenza

**Work Schedule**:

- Monday - Friday
- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Centre Based Day Respite: 1 year (required)

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
