SJOG Richmond has had a long legacy of providing specialist trauma care to our military and first responders. The hospital also offers a range of mental health services for inpatient and outpatients.
Your role
We are seeking applications for a Manager Administrative Operations to join our Patient Services Administration team at North Richmond NSW, on a permanent full-time basis.
This role manages a diverse number of caregivers across all non-clinical administrative areas, coordinating rosters as well as making efficient use of the resources available and using the skills of the team to provide the best all round administrative service to the hospital.
The Position
- Oversee the reception and administration teams for: The main hospital, Medical Centre practice management, Counselling & Therapy Centre, Ward Clerks, Health Information Services, billing and debt collection liaison with Group Accounts Receivables, other non-clinical administrative roles throughout North Richmond Hospital.
- Monitor the provision of exceptional customer service to patients, fellow caregivers and visitors.
- Ensure appropriate training is provided to caregivers to enable caregivers to be trained up across areas to ensure appropriate support to cover periods of leave and caregiver absences.
- Manage productivity and staffing levels across all administrative areas in accordance with budget.
- Liaise with other managers to ensure appropriate delivery of administrative services.
- Work collaboratively with the Shared HIS Centre to ensure that all the health records are scanned with all the information required for coding, in accordance with SLAs.
- Review and monitor administrative systems, processes and procedures
- Responsible for data collection management i.e. clinical indicator management/reporting.
The ideal candidate will bring at least five years' experience in a senior health service operations or administrative role, along with proven success in managing front line health service teams

- Salary: $103,303 to $114,732 per annum, plus 12% Superannuation
- Permanent full-time, working 38 hours per week
