Job Description: We are currently seeking Casual Drivers to join our busy team at LASTS Transit. As a Casual Driver, you will play a crucial role in facilitating crew transfers, long-distance transfers, medical transfers, and other transportation services. You will work closely with our operations staff to ensure the smooth and efficient execution of transfers, all while upholding our company values and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct crew transfers to and from airports, towns, wharves, and mine sites.
  • Execute long-distance transfers to destinations such as Port Hedland, Onslow, and Exmouth.
  • Facilitate medical transfers as needed.
  • Perform cleaning and refuelling of vehicles.
  • Liaise with operations staff to ensure effective transfer operations.
  • Represent LASTS Transit with professionalism and integrity.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements:

  • C-class driver's license.
  • Right to Work in Australia.
  • Ability to pass security clearance for the issue of an MSIC.
  • Must pass pre-employment and ongoing random Drug and Alcohol screening.
  • Ability to use initiative and exercise common sense.
  • Availability for ongoing work and flexible hours.

Desired Qualifications:

  • LR driver's license (or higher).
  • Current MSIC holder.
  • Site access for Rio Tinto, Woodside, Pilbara Ports, Toll Supply Base.
  • Previous experience in the transport industry.
  • Experience in using trailers.
  • Previous experience in Maritime Transfers.

Additional Information: This is a local Karratha residential position.
