The Opportunity

LINX is seeking casual Stevedores to join their Dampier operations. In this dynamic role, you will help facilitate the movement of cargo on and off vessels, offering variety where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

  • Moving general cargo, including containers, vehicles and project vessels.
  • Assisting with mooring operations.
  • Operating machinery as required.
  • Driving vehicles on and off vessels.
  • Releasing and securing various cargo.
  • Performing ad hoc tasks as needed.

About You

  • Flexibility to work on short notice, including day, afternoon and night shifts.
  • Availability for up to 12-hour shifts as required.
  • Previous experience in stevedoring or logistics is highly desirable but not required.
  • Tickets for MISC, forklift, excavator, skid steer, dogman or rigging are advantageous.
  • Current open driver's license required.
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening and a national criminal history check.
  • Team player with strong communication skills and a safety-first mindset.
