About the role
We are a luxury hospitality investment group seeking an experienced and bilingual General Manager to lead a high-end hotel property in Australia. The role requires a Chinese-speaking leader with strong experience in Australian luxury hotel management. You will oversee hotel operations, serve high-end clients (especially Chinese VIPs), and manage the property with an owners business mindset.
Role SummaryYou will oversee daily hotel operations, ensure top-tier guest service, and guide sales, marketing, and revenue strategies targeting luxury and Chinese markets.
Key Responsibilities- Lead daily hotel operations and ensure top-tier guest service.
- Host and build relationships with high-value clients, especially Chinese guests.
- Manage budgets, financial performance, and maximize profitability.
- Guide sales, marketing, and revenue strategies targeting luxury and Chinese markets.
- Mentor staff and maintain a culture of excellence.
- Chinese national, deeply familiar with Chinese culture and client expectations.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written).
- Australian PR or citizenship.
- 10+ years in luxury hotels, including 5+ years as Deputy GM / Operations Director / GM in a 5-star hotel in Australia.
- Understanding of hotel asset management and ownership goals is a plus.
