Our client, a purpose-led not-for-profit organisation is seeking a Management Accountant to join their team in a hands-on role with an immediate start.
This genuine temp-to-perm opportunity will see you working closely with the Finance Manager to drive operational efficiency and support key decision-making across the organisation.
Ideal for someone who enjoys collaborating across teams and making meaningful contributions in a mission-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing monthly management reports and conduct variance analysis
  • Support budgeting and forecasting cycles across departments
  • Monitor financial performance of programs and projects
  • Collaborate with operational teams to provide financial insights
  • Maintain and enhance financial models and reporting tools
  • Assist with grant acquittals and funding body reporting
  • Contribute to year-end processes and audit preparation
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and sector-specific requirements

About You

  • Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • CA/CPA qualified or currently undertaking certification
  • 2-4 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the not-for-profit or public sector
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel
  • Effective communicator with the ability to engage non-financial stakeholders
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero, or similar)
  • Understanding of not-for-profit financial compliance (desirable)
