Overview

Join ARB Corporation Ltd as a Lead Automotive Electrical Engineer. The role involves leading the Electrical Products team within the Product Development department, guiding the development of new products from concept to market release, including vehicle-specific and general accessories with a retail and consumer focus, and supporting the electrical integration of ARB accessories into diverse vehicle platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Electrical/Electronics team, ensuring delivery of projects in line with design briefs and agreed timelines.
  • Drive the development of new electrical and electronic products, from initial concept to release.
  • Provide technical guidance on electrical integration of ARB accessories into vehicles.
  • Advise on the electrical architecture of new vehicles, including BEV and hybrid platforms (HEV, PHEV, MHEV).
  • Collaborate with and manage technical communication with external suppliers.
About you
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven leadership and project management experience.
  • Strong background in the design and development of wiring harnesses and low-voltage electrical circuits.
  • Solid understanding of modern automotive electrical architectures, including BEV and hybrid systems.
  • Familiarity with automotive communication protocols such as CAN and CAN FD.
  • Experience working with external supply chains.
  • Hands-on approach to problem solving with practical application in the field.
  • Experience within an automotive manufacturer or relevant Tier 1 supplier (highly regarded).
