Overview

Uniting Goonellabah is seeking a dedicated Care Worker to join our Hotel Services team in our aged care home. The role provides essential support in catering, cleaning or laundry to create a positive daily experience for residents.

Location: Goonellabah

Responsibilities
  • Provide catering, cleaning and laundry services to residents in the hotel services team.
  • Support independence, dignity and comfort for residents through essential services.
  • Collaborate with the care team to maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Certificate III in Hospitality or an equivalent qualification (Preferred, not mandatory).
  • Hands-on experience in hospitality or food services (catering, cooking, kitchenhand) or cleaning.
  • Knowledge of safe food handling practices and a passion for preparing quality, nutritious meals.
  • Previous experience in community care or aged care is a bonus.
  • Empathetic, adaptable and resourceful with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
