Overview

Guest Service Officer - Communication Centre (Part-time) at Grand Hyatt Melbourne. The Communication Centre is the hub of all phone calls across divisions. The role requires someone who can convey energy and sincerity over the phone and provide exceptional customer service to all guests, internal and external. It involves managing key communication channels in a large, fast-paced hotel and overseeing key administration tasks to support the Rooms Division. The successful candidate must convey a smile over the phone and deliver engaging, efficient interactions. Shifts include overnights and weekends. Computer literacy and time and task management are essential.

Responsibilities
  • Be the hub of phone communications across all divisions for Grand Hyatt Melbourne.
  • Convey energy and sincerity over the phone and provide exceptional customer service to guests, internal and external.
  • Manage key communication channels in a large, fast-paced hotel and oversee administration tasks to support the Rooms Division.
  • Convey a smile over the phone and deliver engaging and efficient guest interactions.
  • Work varied shifts including overnights and weekends; ensure computer literacy and time and task management.
Qualifications
  • An amazing personality across the telephone
  • A genuine interest and passion for providing customer service
  • Basic Computer Skills particularly in the use of MS Office with preferably some knowledge of Fidelio/Opera
  • Availability to work a rotating roster, including late evenings, weekends, overnights and public holidays
  • MUST have working rights in Australia
