We're really proud of all we've achieved over the years. But we've really only scratched the surface. Join us as Senior Finance Analyst and help us as we take something great and make it better.

Your opportunity

Reporting to the Head of Finance and working closely with the Head of Supply Chain, this role is central to optimising freight spend, improving route efficiency, and supporting strategic decisions through data-driven insights.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for data, logistics, and financial insight who wants to make a measurable impact across a complex, fast-paced business.

In this role, you'll be driving cost efficiencies and performance uplift through deep analysis of freight spend, route efficiency, and transport methods—empowering the Supply Chain function to make data-driven decisions that enhance service, safety, and profitability in a dynamic market environment.

Here's what you'll achieve here

  • Own freight analytics and monthly financial outcomes across Supply Chain
  • Deliver deep-dive analysis to identify cost efficiencies and performance uplift
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting for freight, supply chain, and SLOBs
  • Develop and maintain freight-related master data and reporting tools
  • Build a Cost to Serve model to support strategic decision-making
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Champion continuous improvement and automation across reporting processes

What you'll bring

  • 5+ years' experience in a similar finance or analytics role
  • CA/CPA qualified (or training towards) with a degree in Business, Commerce, Analytics or related field will be highly regarded
  • Strong commercial acumen, have a strategic mindset and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Advanced Excel and SAP skills; Power BI experience preferred, would be highly regarded
  • Proven ability to turn data into actionable insights
  • Experience with data systems such as SQL, IBP, TM1, BW would be highly regarded
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage complexity

Why this role

  • Strategic Visibility: Present insights to senior stakeholders and influence key decisions
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Supply Chain, Sales, Category, and Finance teams
  • Innovation & Improvement: Leverage data tools and automation to unlock performance gains
  • Growth & Development: Build relationships across Lincoln Sentry and DuluxGroup Finance teams, and contribute to a culture of learning and excellence

But what's most important is that you're committed to doing good work, well. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with trustworthy people, so it's important that you're willing to work in a team environment. We're also on a constant journey of growth, so you'll need to have an open mind and be flexible to change.

Why choose us?

You know when you get to do good, quality work with people you actually like? It feels good, eh? At Lincoln Sentry, you'll find no-nonsense people who get in and get it done. We roll up our sleeves, share the load, then head home, safe and sound.
