Our client

This is an opportunity to join a large, complex, unlisted infrastructure business supporting the Senior Manager of Corporate Finance with critical analysis and decision support activities. A business with a sophisticated investor base this is an outstanding opportunity for an Analyst with prior financial modelling experience to assume ownership of the businesses corporate model, be heavily involved in the strategic planning process and provide support to major infrastructure projects.

The opportunity

The Corporate Finance Analyst will support the Senior Manager, Corporate Finance with a number of critical business activities including enterprise valuation, business planning, refinancing, regulatory submissions and analysis, capital project assessments and long-term strategic planning. This will include regular model updates to support business planning and valuation cycles and scenario analysis of key business and financial KPI's. The Corporate Finance Analyst will also have the opportunity to work on the evaluation and delivery of projects as they arise.

Required skills & experience

Tertiary qualified in a related discipline, it is likely the successful applicant will have also completed (or part) postgraduate studies in finance or accounting (CA, CFA, MAppFin). Assuming responsibility for the group corporate model which delivers outputs to various senior decision-makers, it is essential that applicants possess prior financial modelling exposure or a strong interest in developing strong modelling skills. Prior experience with VBA Macros will also be favourable. A role requiring interaction with various stakeholders, we are looking for a candidate with strong communication skills and a collaborative, curious and flexible outlook.
