Randstad are delighted to be partnering with one of Australia's premier banking institutions. Our client, a prestigious member of the Big 4 banks, is in search of an exceptionally skilled and driven finance professional to expand their Finance, Change & Enablement division. An opportunity has emerged for a skilled Senior Associate, Reporting Analyst, who will be criticial to advancing the organisation's strategy for Customer Performance Insights.
About the Opportunity
As the Senior Associate, Reporting Analyst, you'll report directly to the Head of Division. This is more than a standard analyst role; it's a chance to fundamentally reshape how financial data is used. You will be at the forefront of transforming complex information into an accessible, self-service data ecosystem, empowering senior leaders with the insights they need to make critical decisions. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Establish the essential data requirements for projects, including sourcing and validating information from various systems.
- Create the architectural framework for data that enables powerful visual reporting tools and self-service analytics.
- Develop and deliver interactive and intuitive dashboards and visual reports designed specifically for key internal business partners.
- Oversee a critical migration project from Tableau to Power BI, with a key objective of automating 80% of current reporting functions.
- Elevate the team's ability to extract tangible business value from data, speeding up the decision-making process for Finance and its stakeholders.
- Partner with finance control teams to manage key projects that deliver on the future operating model.
- Act as a champion for data literacy, uplifting the technical skills and analytical capabilities across the Finance divisio
Ideal Profile
- You will be CA/CPA qualified coupled with Information Technology or Data Analytics.
- 5+ years experience in roles focused on data analysis, performance metrics, or financial systems transformation.
- You are a natural problem-solver who thinks with a data-first mindset and applies agile methods to find sustainable solutions.
- Demonstrates strong technical command of Power BI and DAX, coupled with excellent hands-on SQL skills for extracting and manipulating data.
- Previous experience in UI/UX or the design of user-centric data visualisations would be a significant asset.
- Prior experience within the financial services sector is strongly preferred.
