Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Business Development & Communications Manager – Australia ("BD&C Manager") is responsible for ensuring that business development, marketing and communications initiatives for the Australia offices (Brisbane, Perth, Sydney and Melbourne) are integrated and aligned with the Firm's strategies and policies. The Australia BD&C Manager collaborates with global, centralized teams that lead on pitches and proposals, directories, media relations and events, as well as with colleagues within Australia, the Asia Pacific region and beyond. The Manager ensures all activities comply with Firm policies and reinforces the Firm's vision with lawyers and BD&C staff. The Manager will also promote integration of business development efforts across the Australia offices and work with the Regional Partner in Charge to improve client development opportunities for inbound and outbound services.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum eight (8) years of experience in a business development and/or marketing role in a business and/or professional services environment; law firm experience a plus.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience managing people and/or programs.
