Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant AQF Cert III or Cert IV qualifications or equivalent, or
  • Three (3) years employment experience as a Facility Supervisor with formal training, or
  • Five (5) years employment experience as a Facility Supervisor without formal training.

Additional qualities include a strong work ethic, positive attitude, genuine long-term employment commitment, and willingness to relocate to regional areas with regional adjustments.

Required Experience

At least two (2) years of relevant work experience.

Position Summary

Responsible for overseeing daily operations, maintenance, and safety of the facility, ensuring efficient and effective systems and services. This full-time role may involve weekend or public holiday work and unplanned hours, compensated accordingly.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Handle products to meet customer requirements, including grading, packing, cool chain, hygiene, and dispatch.
  • Assess incoming product quality and determine grading resources.
  • Monitor product quality through various production stages.
  • Address mechanical damage or grading issues.
  • Liaise with relevant managers and supervisors.
  • Maintain accurate QA records for traceability.
  • Manage cool chain during handling and dispatch.
  • Ensure personnel training and adherence to procedures.
  • Handle waste products as per procedures.
  • Ensure dispatches meet standards.
