Job Description

The Project Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and reporting on detailed project schedules for complex process plant projects. Working closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams, the Scheduler ensures that project activities are planned and tracked effectively to support the successful delivery of projects.

Working closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams, the Scheduler ensures that project activities are planned and tracked effectively to support the successful delivery of projects.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project schedules in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project across all project phases (engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning).
  • Coordinate with discipline leads and project managers to gather accurate inputs on task durations, sequencing, and resource allocations.
  • Identify and track the project critical path and key milestones.
  • Integrate contractor and supplier schedules into the overall master schedule.
  • Monitor progress and performance against the baseline schedule, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions where necessary.
  • Generate schedule reports including lookahead plans, progress curves, and schedule health checks.
  • Contribute to project planning and risk management workshops, including schedule risk analysis where required.
  • Support earned value analysis and interface with cost control functions as necessary.
  • Adhere to all Jord company policies and IMS requirements

Skills And Experience
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in project scheduling on large-scale process plant projects (e.g., oil & gas, power generation, crystallisation plants).
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
  • Strong understanding of planning principles, critical path method (CPM), and project execution strategies
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams on EPC or EPCM projects
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline
  • Prior experience in an engineering or construction role
  • Familiarity with earned value management and schedule risk analysis tools
