A Role Tailored for Precision and Progress
Do you see timelines as tools for success? Can you transform complex project details into clear, deliverable plans? At SwitchCo, we're not just after a Scheduler, we're looking for someone who brings clarity, foresight, and rigour to every phase of project planning.
Empowerment and Growth
You won't just be tracking tasks, you'll be shaping the way projects are delivered. You'll work alongside experienced Project Managers to build integrated schedules that align with SwitchCo's proven "Sharpen the Axe" process. This is your opportunity to add value, mitigate risk, and contribute directly to outcomes that matter.
Your Daily Blueprint
- Master Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules across multiple workstreams.
- Planning Integration: Align program timelines with design, procurement, approvals, construction, and close-out phases. Assign tasks and set deadlines.
- Progress Tracking: Monitor project milestones, forecast risks, and support on-time delivery through proactive tracking.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the wider project team to validate assumptions, sequencing, and resource availability.
- Reporting: Generate clear and concise reports, including lookaheads, critical paths, and delays.
- Continuous Improvement: Optimise scheduling practices and recommend efficiencies that support project and business performance.
Your New Professional Home
Based in Sydney, you'll work in a company that values autonomy, rigour, and collaboration. With diverse projects spanning energy, infrastructure, and fuel, your work will directly influence how we plan and deliver across Australia.
Compensation
We offer a competitive salary package in line with your experience, plus benefits that support your lifestyle and professional development.
Realities of the Role
As a Scheduler, your work will be dynamic and often deadline-sensitive. It requires focus, clear thinking, and responsiveness in a fast-paced environment. You'll balance strategic foresight with technical execution, because at SwitchCo, we don't leave success to chance.
Your Toolkit for Success
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in project scheduling or planning in the construction/infrastructure sector.
- Tools of the Trade: Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent scheduling tools.
- Analytical Strength: Ability to interpret construction methodology and translate into structured programs.
- Communication: Able to clearly explain schedule logic, challenges, and impacts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Discipline: Strong personal organisation and attention to detail, with a continuous improvement mindset.
Join the People-First Revolution at SwitchCo
At SwitchCo, our culture is built on care, challenge, and integrity. We're looking for people who are not only technically sharp but also culturally aligned with our values. If you see scheduling as a strategic weapon rather than a compliance task, you belong here.
The SwitchCo Way – A Path Paved with Trust and Excellence
- Partnerships Built on Trust: We communicate openly and deliver with transparency.
- Fearless Project Delivery: We face challenges head-on, guided by insight and data.
- Ownership of Outcomes: Our Schedulers don't just observe—they shape success.
Our Core Values – The Compass of Our Culture
- We Really Care: We take pride in getting the details right and helping teams succeed.
- We Challenge: We push beyond assumptions to deliver better outcomes.
- Integrity is Everything: We do what's right—even when it's not easy.
Drive the Bus with Us
Don't just sit in the passenger seat, drive the schedule that drives the project. At SwitchCo, you'll find autonomy, accountability, and support in equal measure.
The Recruitment Voyage
- Initial Submission: Submit your CV and salary expectations (excluding super).
- Psychometric Exploration: You'll complete an assessment via Talogy before interviews.
- Interview Process: Meet with our leadership team to explore alignment and expectations.
Review and Reflect
Are you someone who turns chaos into clarity? Do you thrive on the satisfaction of a schedule well-built and well-executed? If so, we want to hear from you.
Take the next step in your career with SwitchCo, and help us shape the future of project delivery, one schedule at a time.
