About the role

Your main duties will be to assist with all the various administrative and back-office tasks of a small business, including:

  • reporting and administrative support in business analysis
  • office management
  • assisting with recruitment and onboarding of staff
  • assisting with arranging staff travel
  • providing ongoing support to the continuous improvement of operations
  • ad hoc assistance to the CEO and COO
  • general administrative duties as required

Salary: $80,625 to $86,990 (pro rata)

Location: Canberra (we support a hybrid model with both in-office and work-from-home hours)

About you

You will be an office all-rounder, happy to work in a small team and independently. You will have:

  • an interest in science and/or content development services
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • strong skills in Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel, SharePoint and Teams
  • strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • experience using Xero (preferred)
  • attention to detail in maintaining filing systems and organising documents
  • a willingness to support all the elements that go into running a small business
  • a proactive approach to supporting the team and ensuring smooth business operations.
