Job Description

The Business Operations Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of sales and financial operations.

This role involves supporting the sales organization by facilitating processes that deliver sales, financial, and inventory allocation for sale. Responsibilities include responding to electronic customer inquiries, escalating as needed, and actively supporting branch personnel in selling products to retail customers.

The coordinator will also compile budgetary quotes, gather technical data, customer presentations, lead time, and other information for customer-facing sales forces. Additionally, they will schedule customer visits and events, be involved in actual execution, and prepare agendas.

The coordinator will receive and process orders, issue order acknowledgements, invoices, and shipping notices for simple jobs. They will also compile and communicate order status, inventory status, and associated information to customer-facing sales forces. Furthermore, they will assist in resolving customer issues, including shipment and after-sale matters.

The Business Operations Coordinator will be responsible for compiling, conducting analyses, and reporting on inventory/stock levels. They will also prepare finance forecasts and accumulate project financial data for presentation to leadership and finance departments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience.
  • Strong planning, organization, finance, and time management skills.
  • A continuous improvement mindset.
  • SAP S4Hanna experience preferred.
