The Role
As a primary music teacher at Sheoak Grove PS, you would establish an inclusive and culturally safe classroom environment, set high expectations, and promote reflective learning. We are seeking educators who are passionate about music and the arts, who can inspire students through creative expression and responding to the Arts. The role involves providing engaging arts experiences that help students build key learner qualities such as persistence, creativity, critical thinking, self-reflection, collaboration, and effective communication. The teacher will also be an active member of a Professional Learning Community that uses data to inform practices and focus on continuous improvement.

Eligibility
To work with us, you must:
- hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
- apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start.
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
