The Role

Harrisdale SHS is seeking a passionate Music teacher to join a high-performing team. The role involves teaching Years 7 to 10 Music with strong pedagogy and engaging, performance-rich lessons. Experience in Senior School Certification courses (e.g., Certificate II Music) and expertise in coordinating/directing ensembles, particularly choirs, are highly desirable.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience teaching Music to Years 7–10 with sound music pedagogy.

Eligibility

To work with us you must:

• Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
• Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid visa with work rights for the term of appointment.
• Apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start.
• Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number from the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
