Role descriptionElectronic Trading Solutions unites all of Bloomberg's cross-asset electronic trading platforms into one business, delivering trading solutions and analytics to both our Buy-side and Sell-side clients. Our solutions are an integral part of the Bloomberg network, allowing our clients to seamlessly stage, monitor, trade, clear, allocate and perform TCA all on one platform. We offer many revenue-generating solutions that integrate with Bloomberg and non-Bloomberg OMS solutions across the financial market.
What\'s the role?As a result of the continued success and growth of the ETS business, we are expanding our eFX sales team in APAC to promote our FXGO offering. As an eFX Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing the FXGO electronic trading franchise across the region. You will manage a book of clients, develop a deep understanding of their business, workflows and Electronic Trading needs, and grow revenue by onboarding new clients and expanding existing relationships. You will build deep, value-focused relationships with clients and engage with them on how Bloomberg can help their trading, automation and analysis needs. You will coordinate product initiatives regionally and provide feedback to product teams on user demand and market practices.
Account Managers are expected to manage a book of clients and drive revenue growth and client onboarding to our trading platforms.
Responsibilities- Manage relationships and grow revenue within the client base by engaging with clients through meetings, referrals and cross-selling to achieve sales targets
- Build an in-depth understanding of client workflow to propose solutions throughout the trade lifecycle
- Acquire detailed knowledge of Bloomberg products to position offerings effectively and impact sales
- Anticipate client future needs and propose preemptive measures
- Develop a market through community building with industry participants, policymakers, and associations
- Hold meetings with clients and prospects to present Bloomberg solutions
- Use communication and presentation skills to build relationships with clients, including senior-level stakeholders
- Coordinate regional product initiatives and provide product feedback to drive improvements
- Leverage cross-department collaboration to deliver client solutions
- 3+ years of client-facing experience in financial services or fintech
- Experience selling or supporting financial trading technology to financial institutions
- Experience with OTC workflows in electronic Foreign Exchange trading
- Track record in upselling and cross-selling enterprise technology solutions
- Strong relationship management and client support experience
- Ability to develop and grow a market through relationships and networks
- Knowledge of electronic trading, execution management systems and trading connectivity tools
- Understanding of regulation, market structure and compliance in electronic trading
- Resourceful with strong problem-solving and a can-do attitude
- Continuous career growth within an organization
- Strong presentation and communication skills in English
- Bachelor\'s degree or degree-equivalent qualifications
- Prior experience using or selling the Bloomberg suite of products
