Your role as a Home Lending Specialist is to deliver an exceptional experience by working with customers to meet their end-to-end banking needs.

Whether you're guiding first home buyers create a plan to purchase, or supporting a seasoned investor, you'll play an integral part of helping our customers through the lending journey and driving growth.

In this dynamic and high-impact role, you'll make your mark by:

  • Building a pipeline of lending leads. Keeping track of and nurturing these relationships throughout their buying journey using our CRM
  • Guiding customers through the lending process, giving them peace of mind that we're here to help them achieve their goals
  • Leveraging your credit analysis expertise and understanding of customer needs ensuring positive lending outcomes for all and to future ready your customers for financial success
  • Building strong, relationship-centric connections with the community, the branch, and Branch Manager to deliver effective lending outcomes for customers

This is a Permanent, full-time position located in Cairns working 76 hours per fortnight.

What you'll bring to the role

To succeed in this role, you'll consistently deliver exceptional customer service. We'd love you to have:

  • Extensive experience in customer service or sales
  • High level of understanding of lending products, policies and regulations
  • An ability to build relationships and rapport with customers and colleagues quickly, assess their needs and a develop a holistic view of their situation
  • Highly developed credit analysis skills
  • An understanding of small business offerings
  • Consumer lending experience - this is essential
