Support Worker Opportunity

Are you passionate about delivering high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes? We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Queensland, providing person-centered care and assistance to customers.

This role involves traveling between customer homes, assisting with daily living and lifestyle requirements, and providing emotional support and companionship. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement individualized care plans that cater to the unique needs of each customer.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, empathy, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional care and support. A Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support, or Disability Services is highly desirable, as is experience working with people with complex and/or challenging needs.

  • Personal care: showering, dressing, grooming, and medication assistance
  • Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Social support/transportation: social activities, shopping/groceries, traveling to medical appointments
  • Supporting customers in the use of aids and personal equipment
  • Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
Requirements
  • Minimum Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support, or Disability Services (Highly Desirable)
  • Assist With Medications Certificate (HLTHPS006)
  • Current CPR / First Aid Certificate
  • Current and satisfactory Criminal Record Check
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
  • Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • Reliable, registered, and comprehensive insured vehicle
  • Smartphone with internet access
