Responsibilities
  • Greet clients and attend to all counter and telephone enquiries
  • Cover reception and undertake general administration duties including booking client appointments, processing claims, data entry and monthly reports
  • Liaise with clients of all backgrounds, including children and adults, some with complex needs, and clients from multicultural, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds
  • Perform minor hearing aid repairs and troubleshooting
  • Assist Clinicians with the provision of clinical services by identifying client needs, offering professional advice and demonstrating the use of hearing aids
What you'll bring (Qualifications/Experience)
  • Experience as a proactive problem solver with a sense of ownership
  • Intermediate/advanced computer literacy and some exposure to iPad/phone applications
  • A desire to work in an organisation that contributes to the greater good and makes a difference to clients and their families

Role details
  • Location: Bundaberg Hearing Centre (part-time, 4 days per week; must include Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8.30am to 5.10pm)
  • Contract: 6 months with potential to extend
Requirements
  • Willing to undergo a Police Check (paid by Hearing Australia)
  • Current driver's licence and rights to work in Australia
